Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide a high quality administrative support function .
This post is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Working as a team player, you will need to be highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic with excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills. A good understanding of ICT and working with Microsoft packages is essential for this role.
This comprehensive administrative support function includes:
- Act as the focal point of contact and be responsible for dissemination of information, messages and dealing with telephone enquiries for the team.
- Experience of producing and manipulating data for written reports
- Accurate data entry into the ICT systems.
- Maintenance of shared email boxes.
- Undertaking action notes for team and formal minute taking for other key meetings.
- Other administrative duties as required.

Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
- 5 GCSE passes at grade ‘C’ or above
- NVQ 3 in administration or equivalent experience in an administrator role.
- Significant relevant experience in an administrator role
Desirable criteria
- Good working knowledge of ICT
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Highly Proficient in using Microsoft packages; Word, Excel and sending and receiving e-mails
- Experience of minute taking and providing administrative support to meetings.
- Understanding of Data Protection, Information Governance and able to observe confidentiality at all times.
- Experience of producing and manipulating data for written reports
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Previous experience of using Sharepoint.
- Aptitude for information technology.
Skills

- Able to plan and manage own work ensuring timelines are met.
- Good communication skills. Competent in accurate written communication.

- Able to create, edit and add comments to user guides.
