Healthcare Assistants
Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care under the guidance of the qualified nurse and to have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation which govern current service provision. To assist in the development and provision of social/therapeutic activities for service users and the promotion of effective therapeutic relationships, which meet and address the issues of spirituality, equality and diversity in accordance with good practice and legislation. The post holder will ensure effective communication pathways exist, which positively reflects the values of the organisation.

All our services provide specialist care for service users that often have complex mental health needs and offers support in people’s recovery through holistic treatments; promoting social inclusion, self-management, personnel autonomy and independence.
Fantastic opportunities are available to provide professional and compassionate nursing care to patients within a secure forensic environment as part of our Adult Secure Services. As part of a named nursing team in the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will be providing patient centred, high quality, compassionate, recovery focused care for men who are experiencing complex mental health and/or personality disorders and demonstrate challenging behaviours.
