If you are a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic Nurse, keen to drive the delivery of high-quality care and be involved in improving the care experience for females within Secure Mental Healthcare?
An exciting opportunity has risen for the appointment of a permanent Deputy Ward Manager on Citrine Ward at Ardenleigh Women's Secure Blended Service.
You will be working alongside the current management team to lead and motivate a nursing team to provide excellent care.
You will be provided with opportunities for Leadership and Management Training, regular clinical and management supervision and ongoing CPD opportunities to develop your nursing management career.
Ardenleigh provides specialist care for service users that often have complex mental health needs and offers support in people's recovery through holistic treatments, promoting social inclusion, self-management, personal autonomy and independence.
Successful applicants must be able to work in a challenging and dynamic environment and will need to demonstrate a range of skills including effective communication, empathy, self-awareness, and critical self-reflection skills.
We are looking to recruit dedicated and highly motivated nurse leaders who are passionate about providing and maintaining our high-quality standards and compassionate care to females within the secure care pathway.
You will be part of a wider MDT and nursing team makes a huge difference in the lives of the women we care for.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
To be responsible for the assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of the evidence based care required, including health promotion for a named service user/group.
Responsible for participating in the setting of quality standards, including the monitoring and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
Responsible for ensuring the post holder understands and meets their professional role and responsibilities under the Care Programme Approach and current adult and child safeguarding legislation.
Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Code of practice are observed, adhered to and implemented.
Responsible for establishing therapeutic relationships with service users, and the implementation of evidence based therapeutic interventions with appropriate boundaries in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Councils professional code of conduct.
