30 hours per week


A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, part-time support secretary in the Endocrinology Department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The post holder will play an important role providing support to Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dieticians and Medical Secretaries within this busy department.

Candidates will be self-motivated and possess or be working towards an RSA II qualification (or equivalent) or an AMSPAR certificate or comparable admin/medical secretarial experience. You will enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team and have the ability to relate to children, parents and members of the public. This will be complemented by excellent organisational and communication skills.
