Boring it is not - no two days are ever the same!

An exciting opportunity to join the Outpatient Department

The Outpatient Department is a very busy area caring for children 0-16yrs.

The type of care needed in Outpatients is different from the care given on a ward as we only have a short time to get it right. Sometimes this maybe the very first time a family has visited BCH. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for the smooth running of the clinical areas and to provide quality care.  We see our patients as individuals and aim for their visit to be as fun and free from trauma as possible. The Department strives towards providing high quality care, which is enhanced whilst involving the child, young person and family in all decision making regarding their care. Whilst facilitating this service we strive to keep the best interests of patients as paramount.

Are you?

  • An experienced qualified nurse looking for a challenge
  • Enthusiastic and committed
  • Enjoy pace and variety
  • able to demonstrate an ability to lead a team
