Job overview
A position has arisen for an ambitious and compassionate band 5 Nurse to join our maternity theatre team . The successful candidate will work alongside our midwives caring for patients undergoing elective surgery within our maternity theatres. They will also be involved in providing care in the immediate postnatal period including neonatal care.
Main duties of the job
To Assist with all aspects of postnatal care for our women and babies.
To Manage a defined group of patients/clients, participating in all aspects of care from admission through to discharge
To promote and support Breastfeeding .
To assist with caring for our transitional care babies .
To ensure the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults at all times.
