Are you dynamic, flexible and up for a challenge? Does your interest lie with the care of the Older Person?

We are looking for a Band 2 Clinical Support Worker to work on The Forget me Not Unit- someone who strives to deliver high standards of care to medically ill patients but also has the ability to show compassion to this group of patients.

There will be the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in caring for patients living with dementia.

If you have experience, preferably within the care of the Older Person, if you enjoy a challenge and are highly motivated with a positive attitude, come and visit us here on the Forget Me Not Unit and meet the team.

 

 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

The Clinical Support Worker will work together with members of the Nursing team and contribute to the implementation of a high standard and individualised patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.

The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team, patients and relatives and must be able to recognise and report to the appropriate person any changes in the patient’s condition which may require the intervention of others.

Qualifications

  • English and Maths Qualifications at one of the following academic levels/grades:- O Level - Grade A to C CSE Grade 1 only GCSE Grade A to C GCSE Grade 9 to 4 Functional skills Level 2
Meini prawf dymunol
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health Care
  • Care Certificate

Knowledge & Experience

  • Commitment to undertaking in house training
  • Previous care experience within a care setting
  • Demonstrates interest in caring for older people and patients within all clinical specialities
  • Demonstrates knowledge of duties required as a Clinical Support Worker role
  • Experience of customer care/dealing with the public
