Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Solihull Older Adult Community Mental Health Team and we are recruiting a Band 7 Team Manager. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management, leadership, planning and delivery of clinical services across the team. The individual will also be an active member of the management team, who will contribute to the shaping of our strategic and business plans within these services and input to the Trusts overall direction of travel. 

 

Main duties of the job

The Team Manager is responsible for the management, development and 
implementation of standards across a community team based multi-disciplinary team within a defined catchment area, ensuring that care co-ordination is appropriately undertaken and professional advice and caseload supervision given to team members, ensuring optimum standards of patient care via the effective and efficient management of human, financial and physical resources, in line with agreed objectives, targets and quality standards, resource controls and constraints and regulatory body standards.

The post-holder will be highly visible spending considerable time in the team base working alongside team members, as well as being a senior leader in the development of place based and locality working. Working with the Clinical Services Manager and the Clinical Development Lead the post-holder will ensure there is a strong focus on the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient services whist working alongside other professional leads and stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.
