Main duties of the job

The Critical Care department within the Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust has flexible utilisation of beds to allow for a dynamic flow through the patients Critical Care pathway. Moving forward The Trust are entering an exciting chapter, Midland Metropolitan Hospital will open in 2024 and will provide the highest quality acute specialist services in a purpose built facility. 

We are looking to recruit a, committed and enthusiastic Band 5 nurse to join our team. This post is an excellent opportunity for a nurse to acquire knowledge and skills in the sphere of critical care services. If you are looking for an opportunity to enhance and develop within a positive and challenging environment, then this may be the role for you.

  • Relevant clinical experience, including that as a student or unqualified nurse

  • IV competent or willing to undertake within 6 months
