We are seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to work across various Community Health Centres within Wolverhampton to provide  Reception and Administrative support within the Community Ambulatory Care Service.

You will be expected to promote a professional attitude offering an efficient and confidential service in person and by phone as part of the role.

You will have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work focusing on ensuring the needs of service users and visitors to the health centres are met.

The role involves referencing of, and inputting to, a number of electronic systems and you will demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure data quality standards are adhered to.  Familiarity and experience of ICT systems is essential.

 

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work as a member of a team of receptionists and administrators and is required to undertake all aspects of the role, including dealing with patient enquiries, both in person and on the telephone, handling paper and computerized patient records, data inputting and filing.

The post holder works in close partnership with the clinical teams working in and operating from Health Centre’s to ensure the smooth running of clinics and services.

Essential criteria
  • 5 A-C GCSEs or equivalent and/or NVQ level 2.

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience of the local community
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications

  • Knowledge of Patient Information Systems
