Job overview

We currently have opportunities in cardiac anaesthetics, cardiac scrub and cath lab, across two theatres for Registered Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners (ODP). 

 There will also be scope to rotate to other specialties and recovery within Children's Theatres to ensure that you gain a wide experience within paediatric surgery

Main duties of the job

Coastguard and Horizon Children’s Theatres Department has 9 theatres over 2 specifically paediatric theatre departments.  The specialities we cover are neurosurgery, scoliosis, cardiac, cardiac catheter, interventional radiology, oncology, general, urology, ear, nose and throat, orthopaedics, renal, plastics, burns, dental, maxillofacial, laparoscopic and endoscopy.

  • RSCN/ RN child branch (NMC registered) or equivalent (HCPC)
