Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Senior Clinical Professional to join our Adult Clinical Site Operations Team at University Hospital Bristol & Weston.

Clinical Site Operations is the nerve Centre of our Hospitals and is ultimately responsible for patient flow within the Trust. The team works with the wider hospital 24/7 to achieve key targets including Emergency Access, 4-hour targets and waiting lists. The work is varied and fast paced where no two days are the same.

Main duties of the job

  • Work across multiple functions of UHBW
  • Be part of workstreams that impact on Trust-wide change and improvement
  • Be part of daily decision-making and problem solving

We are looking for a motivated, influential, and forward-thinking Senior Clinical Professional who can bring enthusiasm and energy to the role within the Operations Centre. The role requires flexibility, resilient leadership, exceptional communication together with a proven track record.

The successful candidate will collaborate with all members of the Trust and take a leading role in Site Operations, Governance, and improvement. Clinical leadership will be central to the role and the post holder will be responsible for ensuring focus is on patient care, safety, and the journey throughout for all those attending the Bristol & Weston University Hospital.

The working arrangements is long days shifts including some weekends (full time post = 13 long days per 4-week roster). Secondments will be considered.
