Job overview

The Assistive Technology (AT) Service assesses, installs and monitors AT equipment across B&NES, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The service promotes the use of AT across the organisation, encouraging individuals to consider AT as a preventative measure to reduce reliance on care & support services. This is a self-funding paid for service.

The Assistive technology service is based at Warmley Business Park, Bristol.

Main duties of the job

To drive an allocated vehicle to various locations within and around the BNSSG area, delivering, installing, repairing and collecting a wide variety of Assistive Technology equipment. 


To work with a wide variety of Healthcare professionals, Social Services staff, clients, carers and their families to demonstrate equipment.
To contribute to the safe and effective running of the service as required including taking deliveries, answering visitor or telephone queries and cleaning/decontaminating equipment
