An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Access Department in Facilities Services. You will provide highly professional, comprehensive, effective, and efficient support for the services provided by the access office. Attributes of the candidate for this role will include a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, calmness under pressure and a friendly approach, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure at times.
Main duties of the job
Provide an excellent service in dealing with face to face enquires, via telephone and email
Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations
Have good written/communication skills to support the day-to-day services provided by the access office
Ensuring the issuing of identification badges and other “front of house” services, are completed in full accordance with Trust policies and procedures
Maintain and manage the access control and car parking data base, creating new ID badge accounts, removing staff leavers, producing reports and provide parking history
Ensure car parking and transport services are delivered in accordance with the Trust needs
Excellent IT skills ability to utilise a number of IT applications developing specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices
Ensure a consistently high level of customer service
Ensure that cash and debit card transactions are reconciled, recorded and safeguarded at all times in line with Trust policies and procedures
Responsible for processing and sorting post within the Access department
Provide transport & travel guidance to staff and information around loan schemes
Enrol staff into the business car club and calculate booking costs against the monthly invoice
Manage the collection and recording of lost property, in line with Trust’s policies and procedure
Manage the allocation and auditing of communal lockers, in support of the Trust’s Locker Policy

- Educated to GCSE level
- NVQ Level 2 Customer Services / Business Admin /ITQ or equivalent experience

- NVQ Admin and IT
- Typing qualification or equivalent
