Admin Coordinator - CT

Job overview

We are looking to appoint a well organised CT Admin Coordinator to help provide a professional, efficient and high quality support for the CT department. 

You will be based in the CT area and will line manage a team. Main responsibilities will be to organise and prioritise within the CT administration office.  This entails booking patients in line with pathway targets, to ensure CT capacity is fully utilised and to provide training and development for the team. 

Good knowledge of EPIC is essential together with the ability to prioritise effectively.  CT is a very busy department and successful candidate must be able to remain calm and focused under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Main duties of the job

To support the management of a professional administration and reception service to CT and to all of its users including patients, relatives and colleagues.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to A Level or NVQ Level 3 Customer Service/Business Admin/ITQ or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
  • Team leader/management qualification.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working in a busy clerical/office environment or reception service.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Prioritising, planning and organising own tasks.
  • Working within guidelines.
  • Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations.
  • Data entry experience and documentation.
  • Experience of IT packages.
  • Experience of producing documents to a high standard.
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS.
