Milk Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for an individual with organisational skills, a vision to provide a quality service and to maximise a positive patient experience in this established service. As a Pediatric Milk Kitchen Assistant in children’s services, you’ll be joining a diverse and stimulating department.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the existing team to provide a service for children and young people requiring specialist milk feeds prepared to current British Dietetic Association Guidelines and trust policies.

All training will be provided within the trust therefore no experience is required, however an attitude to learn and develop new skills is essential along with excellent communication skills.

To carry out safe, hygienic specialist milk feed preparation to current British Dietetic Association Guidelines and Trust policies. To provide stock control and maintenance of the milk kitchen, milk store room and expressing facilities. To liaise with nursing, medical and dietetic staff ensuring all patients nutritional requirements are met.
