Come and join our enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible and professional Sterile Services Team based at Cambridge University NHS Trust, Cambridge. We provide sterile medical devices across the Trust to a wide range of departments.
The Sterile Services team is seeking a Porter to be based in the Main Sterile Services Department. You will provide a range of support duties for the Sterile Services Department. You will need to be flexible over a range of shift patterns. Your main duties will include the delivery and collection of used and sterile medical devices around the Trust. You must have good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and be able to remain calm in a busy environment.

To provide a proficient, effective and fully comprehensive portering service for a busy Sterile Services Unit.
Shift being recruited to on this is Monday -Friday 11:00 - 20:00.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
