Assistant Admissions Coordinator - Oncology Day Unit
Band 3

We are looking for a well organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Oncology Day Unit admin team. You will be based on the reception desk greeting and admitting patients into the units and booking appointments.
The ability to work under pressure, be organised and have excellent customer service skills are essential. You must be able to work both independently and within the team; liaise with staff at all levels in a confident manner and be willing to learn. Flexibility is essential as the post does require staff to cover some Saturday shifts and varying 7.5 hour shift patterns within the hours of 7.30am - 6pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Good communication and telephone skills are essential . Previous experience of using computer systems (particularly EPIC) will be an advantage however full training will be given.
Staff will be expected to work onsite until fully trained and competencies complete. A hybrid working pattern at home and onsite may be discussed and considered once the training period completed.
