Job overview

Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5) in Stroke Medicine to commence as soon as possible until 01 September 2025.

Main duties of the job

This post offers an opportunity to join one of the leading Stroke research and clinical groups in the UK. You will join a team of Stroke Registrar’s and Higher Fellows and gain excellent experience and supervision across the entire Stroke pathway.

The post will be particularly suited to an individual who wants to gain experience in Stroke research and there will also be the opportunity for gaining experience in specialised aspects of Stroke Medicine.

Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
