Post 2: Clinical Fellow Core Anatomy Demonstrator in Trauma and Orthopaedics – August 2024 for 12 months
Post 3/4/5: Clinical Fellow Core in Trauma and Orthopaedics (Cambridge Surgical Movement Hub) – August 2024 for 12 months.
Starting August 2024 for 6 months:
Post 6: Clinical Fellow Core in General Surgery (HPB) - August 2024 for 6 months
Starting February 2025 for 6 months:
Post 7: Clinical Fellow Core in General Surgery (HPB) – February 2025 for 6 months
Post 8: Clinical Fellow Core in General Surgery (COLORECTAL) - February 2025 for 6 months
Post 9: Clinical Fellow Core in General Surgery (UPPER GI) - February 2025 for 6 months
Post 10: 12 month Clinical Fellow Core rotational post in General Surgery (Colorectal) rotating to Orthopaedics rotating to Major Trauma Centre. This post is from August 2024 to August 2025 and includes 3 x 4 month rotations.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
In order to be considered applicants must meet the essential criteria listed in the person specification which includes:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application
- Minimum of 12 months NHS experience employed at foundation level or above
- Placements employed at foundation level or above in at least two surgical specialties relevant to this post
Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.
This post may be suitable for those wishing to undertake an “F3” role.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
