We offer flexible, hybrid working & are very focused on developing our own staff with various routes for training & certification available to candidates.

Main duties of the job

The post will be part time, substantive & 22.5 hours per week, supporting the Trust's Research and Development Team.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a wide breadth of accounting experience and will show strong communication skills, including the ability to analyse, understand and communicate financial information to non finance colleagues.

Main duties will include the timely production of monthly management accounts, forecasting, variance analysis, assisting in the costing of new service developments, and supporting the delivery of cost improvement plans.

The role also requires the post holder to maintain regular contact with budget managers, enabling them to accurately report and forecast financial information. This will include on occasion working from the research team base in Cambridge.
