Main duties of the job

  • Lead and manage capital projects within budget and timelines.
  • Engage with stakeholders to align project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with NHS regulations and safety standards.
  • Oversee budgets for cost control and value assurance.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Support and guide project teams to achieve targets.
  • Provide regular updates and reports for transparency.
  • Implement best practices to improve efficiency and sustainability.

  • Evidence of ongoing CPD activity
  • Project Management qualification

  • Experience of developing and producing project plans and strategies
  • Experience of managing a team to achieve delivery of planned benefits
  • Experience of successfully developing collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working within the NHS in a similar role

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Highly computer literate to include Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint
  • Advanced communication skills both written (complex report writing) and orally including advanced formal presentation / facilitation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
