Inflammatory Bowel Disease Nurse - Peterborough

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IBD Specialist nurse team to cover 12 months maternity leave. To provide a specialist nursing contribution to the clinical management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), working autonomously and in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals ensuring the IBD service maintains a consistent high standard contributing to the improved outcomes for patients with IBD.
**Please note that we can only consider applications from individuals with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN, as we are currently unable to support OSCE.**

To perform at specialist enhanced practitioner level, facilitating early assessment, supporting diagnosis and prompt treatment of patients presenting to North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust with IBD to facilitate care provision within the inpatient/outpatient setting, admission avoidance, timely discharge and ensure that management is in line with evidence based guidelines.
The main responsibilities of the role will be related to clinical expertise within IBD, with an emphasis on initiating, performing and maintaining standards of clinical excellence. The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
