Informatics Assistant / Clerical Team Leader

Job overview
We are currently looking for a Informatics Assistant / Clerical Team Leader who will be based at Stamford Hospital.
The responsibilities of the post-holder include line managing the clerical team at Stamford and supporting the clerical teams at other sites.
The post holder will support the PACS Manager, Clerical Manager and Clinical Systems Manager in provision of an informatics service to the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Main duties of the job
Management
- Responsible for the weekly clerical rota.
- Responsible for clerical annual leave requests.
- Deputise for the Clerical Manager.
- Carry out MPA’s on clerical team members.
- Plan, organise and prioritise a broad range of complex activities including their own and other staff members.
- Problem solve and trouble shoot within an unpredictable environment to ensure continuity of service.
- First point of contact for clerical issues on the Stamford site.

- Qualification in information systems / Microsoft software packages

Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
