Job overview

We are currently looking for a Informatics Assistant / Clerical Team Leader who will be based at Stamford Hospital.

The responsibilities of the post-holder include line managing the clerical team at Stamford and supporting the clerical teams at other sites. 

The post holder will support the PACS Manager, Clerical Manager and Clinical Systems Manager in provision of an informatics service to the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Main duties of the job

 Management

  • Responsible for the weekly clerical rota.
  • Responsible for clerical annual leave requests.
  • Deputise for the Clerical Manager.
  • Carry out MPA’s on clerical team members.
  • Plan, organise and prioritise a broad range of complex activities including their own and other staff members.
  • Problem solve and trouble shoot within an unpredictable environment to ensure continuity of service.
  • First point of contact for clerical issues on the Stamford site.

  • Degree or equivalent level of experience
  • GCSE OR Equivalent

  • Qualification in information systems / Microsoft software packages

  • Experience of dealing with conflicting priorities
