The East of England Adult Critical Care Transfer Service is an NHS England funded Service. We are commissioned to transfer critically unwell adults between hospitals for reasons such as emergency treatment, escalation of care, capacity and repatriations. We are a 24/7 service and are looking to expand our team. 

We are looking for Nurses or ODP's with a strong critical care background. You should have completed the critical care course and have undergone a period of consolidation. You will possess excellent clinical skills and be able to work and communicate efficiently to ensure the safety of critically unwell patients during transfer. You will work as part of a team with a transfer consultants and be able to plan, evaluate and implement care as required. 

As an evolving service you will be involved in the implementation and development of the service.

You will be expected to deliver high quality, timely critical care transfers and work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.

You will be a highly skilled, experienced critical care Nurse or ODP that will be expected to work as part of a team to continually plan, implement and evaluate care and escalate therapies as needed.

You will work with the senior leadership team and contribute to the ongoing development of the service
