Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Team function. We currently have a vacancy to oversee a project team delivering the roll out of a new inventory management system to the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The base for the post will be NHS Regional Stores, Denbigh but will involve travel around North Wales sites. |
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will have previous experience working in a similar capacity, specifically Warehousing/Customer Service organisation, the ordering of goods, ,inventory management and stock control. An excellent understanding of Health & Safety is also essential for this role. The roles will cover but will not be limited to the additional tasks below. *Assisting in the rollout of a new inventory management team to hospital sites across North Wales *Planning the rollout of the project in line with expectations and objectives set by the Health Board and NWSSP *Liaising with service users to promote the use of the new system *Training new users *Ensuring effective stock levels are held *Tracking benefits of the rollouts and scheduling reviews The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. |
