Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Supply Chain Shift Manager, to manage our Warehouse Receipts department based at Newport IP5 Stores. The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a similar capacity, specifically Managing Staff.

Previous warehouse and office experience along with understanding of Health and Safety within the workplace is essential for this role.

To Manage a team of staff and their workload within the Receipts department,  

 

Main duties of the job

Main responsibilities of the role include.

Overseeing inbound/outbound deliveries, return of good to supplier, receipt of goods into Aou Warehouse Management Systems, supporting the Warehouse Service Support Team to achieve optimal performance for the Department.

Conducting staff appraisals, sickness, and Annual Leave management, one to one staff and team meetings, updating the training information and utilising the Electronic Staff Record System along with Championing a culture of change/working together.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, the post holder must have proven administrative and project support skills and be committed to providing a quality support service, working with a high degree of professionalism and be capable of managing a very diverse workload working to tight deadlines. The post holder must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will be liaising with a spectrum of stakeholders. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
