Job overview
The phlebotomy department at Withybush hospital is a small, friendly and experienced team dedicated to providing a high quality service to our users - caring for patients needs by expertly and reliably performing safe venepuncture - allowing the rapid diagnosis, routine monitoring and targeted treatment from good quality samples taken by a friendly and familiar face.
The successful candidate will support our team on a bank basis to ensure delivery of the blood sample collection service is maintained on the wards at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.
Main duties of the job
To provide a reliable and safe venepuncture service for the wards at Withybush General Hospital.
Shifts offered may include weekends and Bank Holidays.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
