An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member to join the Medical Resourcing Team at MCHFT.
As a Medical Resourcing Officer you will support our clinical divisions with the recruitment and temporary staffing arrangements of medical staff, providing administrative support and delivering a first class customer service.
The role is great for networking and building relationships with different departments. You will work closely with all medical staff, senior managers, HR teams, divisional service teams, executive directors, outside agencies and other Trust staff as necessary to meet service need.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to embrace and develop this fast paced and interesting role. You must be an effective communicator, possess excellent IT skills (Outlook, MS Teams, Microsoft Word and Excel), have excellent accuracy and attention to detail and be able to organise and prioritise your work.
This role is office based at Infinity House, Crewe and the working hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00. Once you've settled in, and "learned the ropes," we can discuss a hybrid working pattern.
The Medical Resourcing Team are friendly and supportive, there is no I in Team! You need a strong work ethic as it is a busy role, however, we will provide you with all the training and support you need to establish yourself in the role.

Main duties of the job
You will look after the day to day recruitment activity for medical staff within your designated areas, undertaking pre-employment checks for all new starters and ensuring the pre-boarding journey is first class supporting the reduction in time to hire.
You will support clinical managers by exploring new roles, discuss creative recruitment methods and explore the use of placement agencies to reduce temporary staffing spend and provide stability for the medical workforce in that area.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the temporary staffing arrangements , completing compliance checks regularly, supporting with the expansion of our medical bank and contributing to the reduction of agency spend.
It is a very busy role so we need someone with:
*Excellent IT Skills - we use various systems within the team including Microsoft Office packages and external platforms. Full training will be provided.
*Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills - it is very busy, no day is the same but if you love a varied role then this is for you!
*Outstanding customer service - You'll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders daily at all levels of seniority therefore good communication skills and a professional manner is essential.
*Creativity - we are always looking at new ways to do things and improve our service so ideas are always welcome!
