Job overview

An exciting opportunity as arisen for a dynamic person to join our friendly and motivated Cardiology admin team based Leighton Hospital.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Personal Assistant who will be working within the admin team supporting our dedicated team of Consultants, Nurse specialists and other clinical team members. We are keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate their organisational skills, communication skills and want to work as part of team. 

A 12 month Fixed Term contract or Secondment opportunity.

Main duties of the job

The role will include supporting the PA's in their absence together with audio typing, filing,  active monitoring of emails, nurses admin paperwork, keeping databases up to date, dealing with patient queries and answering the telephone.  The role will require flexibility to ensure that all aspects of the service is covered to meet demands of the patients.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Evidence of good communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
  • Excellent administrative and IT skills
  • Audio typing experience to a high standard
  • An understanding of Medical Terminology

The standard hours of work are 8.30 am to 4.30 pm  Monday to Friday.
