This role will be as first point of contact to staff visiting the Trusts main Education centre at Sycamore House in Ellesmere Port, providing reception and administration support to those visitors and colleagues. 

Education, Learning and Development CWP is a great and supportive team to work within and the roles within this team span across all other teams within the Trust giving great opportunities to really get to know the organisation and its priorities. 

This role is Fixed term: 12 months

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Education Learning and Development CWP support team, the role provides comprehensive administrative support to CWP staff along with members of the wider Education CWP Team. The Education Administrator role demands flexibility to support service and therefore a person-centred focus with all aspects of work is required via face to face and telephone communications.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE’s Math and English C or above (equivalent key skills level 2 would be acceptable)
  • NVQ in Business Admin - or similar
Desirable criteria
  • Microsoft Office suite of packages

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential criteria
  • Sound level of personal IT skills, including familiarity with Word/Excel and Powerpoint
Desirable criteria
  • Use of ESR system

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of clerical/admin work in a busy environment serving a large customer base
  • Experience of being a first point of contact
  • Experience of team working
  • High level of customer care awareness and skills
  • Good decision-making skills with the ability to effectively manage workloads to deadlines
