Job overview

**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

The relocation package is for anyone who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership. Terms and conditions apply please see attached document.

If this applies to you, please state this on your application so we can discuss this with you if you are invited to interview.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Trust is pleased to be recruiting to the Community Cheshire Psychiatry Team. We have a variety of vacancies part and full time across the Cheshire locality as a result of retirements and relocation of staff out of the area. We would be interested in applicants for Consultant and Speciality Doctors to work within our generic Community (0-18 years) Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services. We also have hours within our more specialist services; Learning Disabilities CAMHS and Autism and ADHD services.

Main duties of the job

Services follow nationally recognised models, such as CAPA and include Access services and Community Treatment Teams. Access services include our new single point of access, the Cheshire Hub and close links to CWP’s Mental Health Support Team (6 successful bids so far) as well as ARRS posts sitting within GP PCN’S. Partnership working with 3rd sector charities and providers is good and robust care pathways continue to be developed.

Psychiatry input is predominantly in the community treatment teams and these are staffed with Therapists, Case managers, NMP, Clinical Coordinators and Team Managers. Recent staff development has seen the embedding and strengthening of various therapeutic interventions (EMDR, DBT as examples) and West Cheshire base has recently been accredited with NSCAP. Psychiatry enhances the MDT approach and provides senior clinical experience and leadership. Psychiatry care is also provided as part of Learning Disabilities CAMHS and established Neuro Development Care pathways.

Allied to the community teams we have a developed Urgent Support and Crisis Team, Eating Disorders Hub and Spoke model of care with T4 Cheshire Eating Disorders as well as Ancora House.

The area is covered by two local authority areas (East Cheshire Council and Cheshire West and Chester Council) and joined care pathways are established in a number of areas; Neuro Developmental care and Admission Avoidance care through the development of the multi-agency Gateway meetings.
