Job overview

An exciting opportunity have arisen within the Medical Workforce Team for the role of  Rota Coordinator, ( Band 4)  on a permanent basis.  

You should have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work of your own initiative and think calmly and logically under pressure. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a positive attitude to maintaining high standards at all times. Experience of working in a busy office environment and using management information systems would be beneficial.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to increase their knowledge of medical staffing across the organisation, and gain a greater understanding of medical rostering, processes and systems.

Hours per week: 37.5 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as key point of contact for Medical Workforce queries and provide an efficient Medical Staffing advisory service. They will also be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the Medical Workforce Department, ensuring that rosters meet operational demand. Liaison with external organisations and communication with a range of staff within the organisation is a key element of the role.
