Neonatal Staff Nurse

If you fancy a new challenge or are looking to start your career in Neonates, then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for!

 We are looking for an enthusiastic paediatric or adult nurse to join our team.

You will have a positive attitude and be able to provide excellent clinical, compassionate care, with a willingness to learn and expand on a range of specialist skills. There is an opportunity for enrolment on the Foundation in Neonates course and further progression to "Qualified in Specialty" module, providing you with specialist Neonatal skills and career advancement.

  • The successful applicant will work as part of a team of nurses caring for preterm and sick infants.
  • The Unit is a Local Neonatal Unit with two intensive care beds, four high dependency and  8 special care. 
  • The successful applicant will be supported in caring for infants in all areas with access to specialist qualifications.
  • The shifts are 11.5 hours covering days and nights , seven days per week.
  •  The successful applicant will have a passion for working with families to care for infants, support with breastfeeding and follow our family integrated care model.

  • Willing to undertake administration of intravenous drugs within 6 months.
