Main duties of the job

Working in the community, you will work alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to implement rehabilitation programmes in patients’ own homes, care homes  and group settings, working closely with statutory and voluntary services to promote and maintain independence.

As well as completing joint visits with therapists the post holder will be expected to undertake independent visits to implement exercise programmes, complete mobility practice, self-care practice, provide, fit and check equipment as requested by the therapist.

At present the service is provided 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) with no requirement to work weekends. The post does require successful candidates to be able to travel independently within the local community to visit patients at home.

Please note that this vacancy will close when we receive sufficient completed applications.
