The main purpose of the job is to provide support for National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) portfolio adopted projects. The role will involve supporting and assisting Research Nurses and Clinical Studies Officers with study related procedures as delegated and required.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
- Under guidance from the team Research Administrators, compile a site file for each trial ensuring all documents stored within it are up to date and the correct current version.
- Under guidance from the Research Administrators, complete archiving and destruction of all study documentation as per regulations.
- Compile patient folders as required with consent form, page front, patient information sheet and Case Record number and file appropriately.
- To undertake general office duties on behalf of the team such as Word processing, filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning and taking accurate telephone messages.
- Send GP letters informing that their patient has been recruited in a trial.

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increase the numbers of people who use out services.

- Good level of general education (5 GCSEs grade A-C including English and Mathematics)
- EDCL or equivalent/RSA 2 in typing or relevant experience
