Project Support Officer (Cyber Security)

Job overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join our team, focusing on the documentation of our cybersecurity supply chain and working closely with our Cyber Security Operation Center (CSOC). In this role, you will be responsible for accurately recording and maintaining detailed records of our cybersecurity measures, vendor assessments, and compliance activities. Your attention to detail will ensure the integrity and security of our supply chain processes, aiding in the identification and mitigation of potential risks. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.  This role is key in improving our safeguards and maintaining the trust of patients, partners and suppliers.
An interest in Cyber Security is an advantage in this role but is not essential.

Main duties of the job

As a Project Support Officer you will be responsible for supporting, developing and  delivering a number of projects related to strengthening cybersecurity and resilience county wide.

You will be motivated, flexible and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. It is essential that you are a team player and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

This post is full-time working 37.5 hours per week. Flexible working will be considered.

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English and Maths minimum grade C or equivalent
  • NVQ 4 Business Administration or equivalent practical experience
Desirable criteria
  • IT related subjects
  • Project Management

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Practical knowledge and experience of working in an office support or project office role
  • Experience of organising and prioritising multiple tasks within tight timescales / deadlines
  • Proven experience in using Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Experience of organising and supporting meetings
  • Experience of SharePoint
