Trust Doctor F2 Eqiv in Emergency Medicine 

We are looking for a Trust Doctor F2 Equivalent to join our busy Emergency Department on a fixed term contract until August 2024.

To provide  with colleagues a service to the Royal Cornwall Hospitals’ NHS Trust, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department.

Main duties of the job

Key Accountabilities

  • Assessment and management of admissions to the Emergency Department .
  • Attend ward rounds as timetabled.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary ward meetings.
  • Assist in-patient management.
  • Fulfill the duties of the weekly timetable including out of hours responsibilities.
  • Participate in Clinical Audit.
  • Participate in departmental Education and Training sessions.

Qaulifications

Essential criteria
  • MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification.
  • ALS or equivalent.
  • Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
Desirable criteria
  • Additional qualifications e.g. BSc, MSc, PhD or equivalent.

  • Is up to date and fit to practise safely.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Has achieved appropriate level of core competencies.
