An exciting opportunity has arisen within our critical care therapy team for a dynamic and engaging Rehabilitation Support Worker.

We are looking for individuals who are attentive, compassionate and have a significant interest in rehabilitation. You will be supported by the critical care therapy team, through supervision and teaching opportunities to progress your development and support your career aspirations. We welcome applications from candidates who strive to deliver excellent care and rehabilitation, to promote good patient outcomes and positive care experiences. The critical care therapy team work closely together and with the wider multiprofessional team and this position will be integral and central in the patients’ rehabilitation journey. You must have excellent communication skills, be flexible in your work and have the ability to adapt to fast changing circumstances.

This is a substantive full-time post of 37.5hrs per week, with occasional weekend working

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

To assist in the rehabilitation for patients on the critical care unit and on the hospital wards, under the support from Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) and Physiotherapy clinicians. This will include contributing to the assessment and treatment of these patients, ensuring they receive excellent care, with good therapy outcomes. This role will also support with complex discharges from the unit, ensuring patients are kept at the centre of their care, throughout their critical care journey.

Experience
