Ward Leader
Band 7
Trosolwg o'r swydd
A rare opportunity has arisen within Trauma services at the Royal Cornwall Hospital for a Ward Leader on Trauma 1.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and make a difference to patient care. The ward is a fast-paced 29-bedded ward caring for patients that have sustained either a traumatic bony injury or joint infection. As the ward leader, you will need to provide clinical leadership to ensure that all patients are provided with a high-quality, evidence-based and seamless service, whilst being a highly competent, knowledgeable and visible practitioner. You will need to possess effective communication skills to lead a team of registered and non-registered nursing staff and associated non-clinical staff whilst working with an extensive multi-disciplinary team to provide the best outcome for your patients and staff.
Through taking ownership of the clinical area, you will be accountable for implementing, driving, and monitoring the quality and safety agenda and to improve standards and the patient's experience.
