Would you like to join our dynamic team of Paediatric Nurses in our Children’s Emergency Department?

An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of a growing, vibrant Paediatric Team within the Cumberland Infirmary. We are looking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic, motivated Band 6 registered children’s nurse, with active RSCN registration, who wishes to build upon their leadership skills and excel in their career. The post holder will have experience in an acute paediatric or A&E setting. Ideally you will have completed PILS/EPALS and will be able to provide evidence of professional development, shift management, and staff development.

We have recently just opened a new paediatric department within our main A&E building. We have a triage room, 3 treatment rooms including a HDU and a safe room to see and assess patients safely. This is a new and exciting opportunity for a children’s nurse looking to expand their emergency care knowledge and to be part of a brand new paediatric area.
