Our HR/People Services Directorate has an exciting opportunity to work within the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Services team, to be at the forefront of system development, engagement and data management.

The HR/People Services directorate provides advice and transactional services to employees and managers across the organisation. If you would like to work in a customer friendly, quality focused service; within a collaborative and supportive team, this may be the job for you!

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic team leader to support our service and implement new functionalities and solutions who share our Trust values of kindness, respect, collaboration and ambition. This role will  involve team management and development,  policy, process and service development, management of payroll and pension related queries, face-to-face training, reporting/analytics, systems administration, project management and much more. This role will also provide experience deputizing for the ESR Systems Manager.

This is a great opportunity to develop transferable skills, whilst supporting our front line services, and working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to provide an efficient and effective service. Our team is friendly, supportive and receives great feedback from our customers. 

The role requires use of web based systems, including ESR (Electronic Staff Record), timesheets and expenses solutions, and Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel and Power BI. Full training on our systems will be provided to the successful candidate.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Standard Check: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Enhanced Check: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience

Experience

  • Experience working at a supervisory level in an admin role
