Job overview

Are you a GMC Registered Doctor, who would be interested in working flexible working hours? If so, we would be very interested in talking to you.

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) is looking to recruit General Practitioners to our internal Flexible Workforce Bank.

Main duties of the job

These posts will allow individuals to work flexibly to fit around commitments whilst contributing to the delivery of high quality care to the practices within our services. We are particularly looking to recruit practitioners interested in working within Urgent Treatment Centres based at Buxton, Whitworth, Ripley and Ilkeston Hospitals. These are all friendly, multi-professional settings with a reputation for innovation and person-centred care. This role will be focussed on direct patient care.

Working for our organisation

Joining the DCHS Flexible Workforce Bank will enable you to decide your work structure and also give you the opportunity to decide whether to work at one, or all, of the sites as and when required.

We are seeking either short term locums or a combination of ad hoc sessions. We are keen for support as soon as possible but are very happy to be flexible in relation to the applicant's preferred choice regarding number of sessions, days of work and site. We cover indemnity insurance via NHSLA.

Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing with DCHS.
