The High Peak  Integrated Community Team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Therapy Support Worker to work in the Community Therapy Team and Bedded Care Therapy Team.

The post holder will work  within  the community as part of a positive and patient-focussed team to provide patient-centred care to support housebound patients with their rehabilitation.  This rehabilitation may be offered in the patients own home or in a rehabilitation unit or care home.

As a valued member of the team you will be responsible for supporting your colleagues in ensuring that our service users’ needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.  You will offer a person-centred approach to their independence and well-being.

The skills required to meet this exciting but demanding post are:

  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to carry out treatment as delegated by qualified Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapists or Advanced Therapy Support Worker
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to be flexible and be able to manage own time efficiently.

The service covers 7 days a week 08:00-18:30 - there is an expectation that the successful candidate will work weekends.
