Job overview

We are looking to appoint two Speciality doctors in Ear Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT) to join our well established, friendly and dynamic ENT surgical team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. It is anticipated that these posts will support increased activity in the Department and contribute to maintaining quality of care.

Chesterfield Royal is a busy District General Hospital, and the ENT service covers a broad range of emergency, cancer and elective paediatric and adult ENT workload, which include an established endocrine surgery service in rhinology and facial plastics.

The service has close links with the Tertiary Trust at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals with a shared weekend pathway, and links for Cancer surgery.

You will join our existing middle grade ENT doctors in providing out of hours cover to the department on a non-resident on call basis, between Monday and Thursday.

A designated consultant supervisor/mentor will oversee your education and training development, and some support for those undertaking CESR may be possible based on requirements and stage of development.
