Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Practice Development Team. 

This role facilitates creating quality inter-professional learning environments for all  learners and healthcare staff in the workplace,  delivering point of care learning and development opportunities. 

This role also supports creating a life-long learning culture, promoting continuous professional development. 

The post-holder must hold a professional registration and have excellent communication skills, together with a wide breadth of clinical experience.

Main duties of the job

This will enable you to enhance your interest of education, staff development and support.  The role involves developing and delivering group and individual training for health professionals who have been registered for more than a year. 

You will gain experience in career conversations, clinical supervision and advising staff on their continuing professional development. We provide education through a variety of settings from classroom to in situ simulations. We provide support around revalidation , clinical skills refreshers and Trust audits.

The team receive requests from a range of clinical departments to help them create and deliver training to meet their needs, so you need to be innovative and work with other team members. There are professional development opportunities for you too - education, supporting improvements, professional practice and leadership.
