Job overview

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual able to use their own initiative to join our friendly, hardworking team on Robinson Ward within the surgical division.  

This is a 15 hour post working Monday & Friday.

 

 

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will assist the team to ensure that equipment and stock levels are maintained, as well as ensuring the ward environment is clean and tidy. They will also assist in ensuring adequate nutritional requirements are provided for patients.

Previous experience within a housekeeping role would be an advantage, but not essential, as a full induction and support programme will be provided.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
