DSFS Ltd are looking to recruit into the exciting role of a Digital Learning Systems Trainer.
This role is an excellent opportunity to join the team as we embark upon a period of transformation and improvement.
We are looking for a trainer to deliver our current portfolio of Clinical IT Systems, and lay the foundations for introducing more Digital content.
There is ample potential for continued professional development whilst enhancing our digital learning and access management service.

Main duties of the job
To facilitate digital learning for users across the Trust and DSFS, enabling them to understand and use our varied range of Clinical IT Systems and standard desktop software applications.
You will be required to deliver training sessions using virtual and face to face settings and support the initial development of ‘Digital’ content, laying the foundation for change to more Digital content.
- Deliver remote (using Microsoft Teams), and face to face training, on Clinical IT Systems.
- Use software to produce e-learning material including audio/video capture and editing packages.
- Manage and upload training packages onto platforms for use by trainees.
- Preparing and maintaining training material.
- Facilitate Corporate induction sessions on-site and ensure that support is provided to joiners with their IT access and password changes.

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent experience (preferably in a Learning & Development or related discipline)
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
- • A Training / Development qualification at Level 4 or higher
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of organising and schedule activities and resources
- • Stakeholder management experience, to influence, build, and sustain relationships to achieve results.
- Experience of working to and meeting deadlines
Desirable criteria
- Experience of generating Digital Learning content in a healthcare environment
- • Experience of delivering entry level training to a wide user group within a healthcare environment
- IT Training experience
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to work in line with optimal processes
- Motivation to learn new skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products
- • Practical experience of training in a professional setting.
Desirable criteria
- Good understanding of ICT Training process
- • Learning content creation skills, preferably for learning and development purposes.
- Knowledge of statutory provisions relating to Information Technology (including Data Protection Act, Caldicott, Misuse of Computers Act etc)
- Knowledge of hospital systems
