We are fortunate that our trust is committed to continued professional development and training opportunities. Some of our clinicians have specialist interests in OCD, ARFID's, Girls with ASD, Differential Diagnosis, Compassion Focused Therapy, ACT and many other areas.
We are a Uni-disciplinary team and have additional specialist teams including Paediatric Psychology, Children with an Intellectual Disability, Positive Behaviour Support and a Youth Offending Service.
We also work closely with other professional groups. We have close ties with the Trent Clinical Psychology Course and supervise trainees and CAP's regularly.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
To provide a high quality clinical psychology service to children, adolescents and their families in a specialist ASD team, delivering both specialist diagnostic assessments and interventions.
Working as part of a team and also autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Trust's policies and procedures.
In addition the role would involve advice and consultation on client's psychological assessment and care to non psychological colleagues and to other non professional carer's, to provide teaching and supervision to other psychologists including Assistant Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologist's and Graduate Clinical Associates. Undertaking evidence based clinical practice, and in service development, service evaluation and clinical audit.

- Completion of a BPS accredited postgraduate doctoral training course or equivalent in Clinical Psychology
- Registered with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist

- Further training in new wave models of intervention such as ACT and CFT
Experience

- Experience of psychological assessment and treatment of patients across the full range of care settings
- Experience of working with a wide variety of patient groups
- Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention and management
