Do you want to work  as part of an innovative Acute Medicines Team? A door of opportunity has opened for individuals that want to develop their skills and knowledge in this area.

An exciting opening has arisen for a registered Pharmacy Technician to join our very friendly, hardworking and well-established Acute Medicines Team at Royal Derby Hospital.  The team comprises of a number of experienced Pharmacists and Medicine Management Technicians.

You will work closely with other professionals to provide ward based medicine management and optimisation including medicine reconciliation, patient counselling and ensuring the quality, safety and timeliness of discharge medicine.

We are a caring team, which has received local, national and international recognition for the service we provide.

It is essential for the candidate to be driven and able to cope with the pace and demands that a busy acute medicine service presents.

The team supports personal development and recognises the importance of a work-life balance. The role consists of shift-working hours including evenings and weekend commitment.
